Jayne & Paul--wedding with the

They met through “It’s Just Lunch” nearly two years ago. This match was meant to be! The bride and groom lucked out after nine days of rain to a beautiful, sunny sky the day of their wedding. Our beautiful bride, Jayne wore a Judd Waddell gown and Paul wore a white tux jacket, looking very dashing. Jayne surprised Paul with a bagpiper who preceded her down the aisle. “Gumby” better known as “The Beag” also wore a tux for the wedding and walked down the aisle as part of the processional. “The Beag” is a nine year old beagle, who Jayne adopted as a research dog at Auburn University in Alabama. Jayne is a small animal emergency vet and Gumby holds a big place in her heart. Paul, Jayne and “best woman” Sara, hatched the idea of having “Beagaritia’s” as a signature drink, consisting of Limon cello, tequila, triple sec and sweet and sour mix. They also designed and had “Beagarita” glasses made a favors for all of their guests. Tables were named after the Chinese zodiac, and Jayne created seating cards for each of her guests, holding a sign with the guests name next to the zodiac animal including the Tiger, Snake, Rat, Monkey, Horse, etc. The wedding cake was made by Paul's sisters, Sally, Evie and Sue. The grooms cake was made by Market Salamander's renowned pastry chef Jason Reaves, who recently competed on The Food Network Leggo Cakes Competition.
Paul is the Chairman and CTO of Stelligent, a software consulting firm specializing in continuous delivery and cloud migration. They will honeymoon in the Maldives in the Indian Ocean. The double happiness sign that was prominently featured on their invitations and cake is well deserved. They will soon reside in their new home in Middleburg, VA. I hope to fox-hunt with Jayne upon their return.
