The Paebaek ceremony is a traditional Korean ceremony originally intended as a way to pay respect to the groom’s family, but since the brides no longer live with the groom’s parents after the wedding, many couples have modernized the tradition. Relatives on both sides of the family are often invited to participate and offer blessings to the couple. Kyra looked absolutely stunning in her ceremonial Korean wedding attire. At The Black Horse Inn we specialize in all types of ethnic ceremonies and enjoy helping our brides and grooms connect with their heritage.
Every member of your family is invited to take part on that special day. Gondori and Toto a 13 year old German shepherd mix felt right at home during Kyra’s and Chris’s special day.
Kyra Koh and Chris Kwan enjoyed their traditional Korean and Chinese ceremonies as well as embracing their new lives together with a beautiful weekend spent at The Black Horse Inn. During their wedding weekend they celebrated their heritage by participating in a traditional Chinese tea ceremony as well as a traditional Korean wedding ceremony on Friday evening. On Saturday they had their dream wedding in the country surrounded by their family and friends. They finished off their weekend by enjoying breakfast with their new families. As they start their new lives together it will be a weekend they will never forget.
